Given that it was planned for weapons release down at 50 feet and mach 1.2 you would have thought it would have needed some form of forward looking system - FLIR based perhaps?
That's even more interesting than you may realise. DoD people came over to UK in the late 50s making 'buy' noises for TSR2, but were in fact gathering technical info to feed into the F111.

TSR2 did have TFR, incidentally.
