I recall helping a mate turn round his brand-new Jag at Valley in the summer of 1975 - it really has been around for rather a long time! He'd flown down with an OCU instructor in the other jet to give us Gnat students a talk on his smart new jet.
But he did tell me that he'd got a bit tight in the final turn and needed a fair bit of burner to get round OK.....
