Wink

Monday strike was postponed ,Due to the promise of talks.

IMPACT has told Aer Lingus and the LRC that we will not accept further delays with our claims.Impact representatives will meet with the LRC on Fri ,27th Oct to press this point and full negotiations will take place on Tue 31st Oct .We require the setting of a series of further dates in order to progress our claims with out delay.
Aer Lingus Cabin Crew Committee has mandated further work stoppages if necessary.
The strike for Monday was not a rumour it was for real ,the threat of the strike on Mon had the disered effect it got us into talks on Fri,we do not want to have to take further strike but further work stoppages have been approved and will be acted upon.
You have to under stand we are dealing with a company who will not honour written mandates by it's cabin crew to cease union deduction of our old union SIPTU who we left on the 28th July!!
The company is waiting legal advice !!!!
Do they not understand the 1991 payroll's act???
Legal action will follow depending on the companys response.

Further progress reports will be issued as developments occur.
