I was on it!!
I flew on the plane. We went to Lagos, via Tripoli( To refuel). Landed at 22.00 on Thursday, 5th Oct Spent 42 hrs w/out sleep, to get all of our staging from the Airport to the venue in downtown Lagos.
All the delays were due to lack of funding being available in time from our Nigerian client, or obstructions due to the unbelievable amount of back handers that are expected there!
Rock-It didn't panic, as the weight was always going to be that much, they simply weren't asked.
The crew were excellent, and without them there's a chance that one of the Lighting boys wouoldn't be back home now, as he left his passport on an airport minibus.
It was an honour, and one hell of a privilage to share the last week with this amazing plane, and we wparked next to a 124 in NEMA.
I've got loads of photo's and vidz of it, and on't know what to do with them so that I can share . ANy suggestions welcome.
