The Dublin flights are more to do with stopping Aer Arann getting too successful, the Cork-Dublin route was and still is Aer Arann's busiest route. As for the liverpool route that has been operating since 2004 (I stand to be corrected on that one). However the real reason they don't pull the Cork routes is as I said earlier. They don't want to operate many services from Cork but at the same time they don't want anyone else operating from Cork either.
