Ryanair are just trying to steal passengers from Cork for 2 reasons.
1. If they don't take over Aer Lingus they want to make life as tough as possible for Cork. They don't want to operate from Cork, but at the same time they don't want any other airlines operating successfully from Cork. Just look at what they did with Easyjet.
2. If they do take over Aer Lingus they want to reduce passenger numbers from Cork as much as possible so that they can move some of the planes to Shannon saying they are losing money at Cork. Either way Ryanair have it in for Cork and are trying everything to ruin the airport. The easyjet experience will scare off lots of other airlines who could operate quite successfully from Cork.
