Agree about the smoke trail. Saw one (maybe the same one) leave Newcastle one clear evening a couple of years ago, could follow it for ages. Very occasionally (about once every couple of months) Pulkovo still substitute a Tu154 at Heathrow for their 737. Same effect.
Yes, sorry you are correct it did have hushkits fitted. You would'nt think so though by the amount of DB's she produced!!
