There is no airline that flies a scheduled service from STN to MAD.
FR didn't announce any routes from MAD today their most important hubs: HHN, BGY, CIA, GRO.
I think this is because with 3 based aircraft in Madrid and a desire to launch STN, CIA, BGY, GRO, HHN you couldn't offer the frequencies this routes deserve.
Ryanair would have announced today: "New Madrid base: 3 new aircraft, 2 new routes (STN and CIA)"
So it looks like they opted for the soft launch approach. I have no doubt that STN, CIA, BGY, HHN, PSA, GRO, BRE, LPL, PIK, NYO will all become FR Madrid destinations sooner rather than later, not to mention the Canary Islands (and other domestic routes), Morocco, most current FR Italian and German destinations, and later KAK, WRO, RIX, and many more!
Interesting times ahead
