I haven't had any bad experience with them in many years of extensive exposure to them, in all climates.

Situational awareness AND good multi crew support is the key.

Can't comment on jet software (Airbus)...suffice to say Boeings BDFW is good (Box t'Does Fuggin Wonders).

Requests previously did go in to modify the Jepp plates, re distance to MAP not next WPt and graphic MSA floors for better comprehension (Eastern/QF, I believe)... many have been adjusted.

Found them safe and no probs with them myself but interesting to read.
