All a bit optimistic I feel, the Jag is more likely to be employed in the other middle east theatre, because:
1. There is already plenty of runway length (if a little narrower than norm) at Kandahar for other platforms to operate from. If the supply chain, tanker assets etc. could support it, then GR4 with it's higher load capacity
and gun would almost certainly be there already.
2. Notwithstanding above comment on length, the Jag is going to have serious performance issues at that elevation with any kind of useful loadout.
All in my partially educated humble opinion, of course.
