Bert, you hit the nail smack on the head once again. I believe the 2 Gary's oiled their way( purple paper oil for a Major and Col) in to Ysters with a mackie or 2 and by the time the CAA go there the evidence she was gone, eech, no fuel no money, happy new SA . Broberg did apparently explode, can't blame the man.

The sad thing is, the SAAF is cerainly not the SAAF I was in, at least then bribes were NO-NO's. except where a beer or two came into the picture.

I wonder what the implication may be to civvie traffic into SAAF bases, I remember awhile ago the SAAF refused to allow the CAA into WK to inspect a IL76, their reply was simple, the IL76 being civvie may no longer land at military basis untill inspected, the SAAF turned the corner at break neck to allow them in after that.
