Yes I agree with you, I cant see many changes on the Aer Lingus short-haul, Shannon network. I was hoping they might consider AMS at some stage but its growing ever more doubtful given their continued expansion at Cork, they just don't seem to be interested in SNN short-haul bar LHR.

It's good news though on the long-haul front if Aer Lingus do in fact keep the JFK and BOS services, and with AA starting the Chicago service then the loss of the Shannon-stopover shouldn't be as big a blow as the media makes out. If SNN management can work as well with the current US carriers serving the airport and other US airlines currently not serving the airport, such as Northwest, as they did with Ryanair then maybe SNN can maintain its current pax growth????

By the way, was it that the AA SNN-BOS service wasn't performing well and they had to pull it or was there another reason to the end of that service?
