Hmmmm.... Ya, Ryanair could make Shannon to Eindhoven work I believe and the day should come when this route will be introduced.
Meanwhile, a Shannon - Amsterdam service would be a winner in my opinion. Once daily with Aer Lingus, or maybe 1-3-5-7.
To think that Aerlingus flights from both Cork and Dublin to Amsterdam have fantastic load factors, regularly 100%!!! And judging by the prices the yields are equally delicious. In this context an EI Shannon to Amsterdam service seems feasible.
Interestingly, a few months ago i stumbled across the fishing website of this guy
http://www.pike-ireland.net/index.html who is a Dutchman living near Shannon who would surely be one of many to appreciate and use a SNN-AMS or SNN-EIN service.
PS - The reduction in SNN to LHR is a result of the FR, U2, EI fares war on London routes from SNN. This winter LHR timetable was devised
before U2 pulled out and FR announced significant reductions. I can imagine it will rise again for summer 2007.
