Two emergencies at Dublin Airport this evening

There were two emergencies this evening at Dublin Airport.
The first involved an Atlas Air Boeing 747, which had just completed routine maintenance at a nearby facility.
When the aircraft, with eight people on board, took off, a number of plane spotters claimed to have seen something fall off the undercarriage.
The aircraft immediately returned to the airport and landed safely.
In the second incident, the crew of an Iberian Airlines plane en route to Dublin from Spain reported smoke in the cockpit.
The aircraft subsequently landed safely in Dublin.
