Thanks to the people who helped me with my JQ enquires. I was offered a position for the SYD base today starting training in a few weeks.

All I need to do now is work out how I will finish my degree while at ground school! Lucky I have a good rapport with my teacher, will take a bit of negotiation to get around this one.
