Ya, i remember EUjet had plans for a Shannon to Amsterdam route although I'm not sure did they go bust ever before the route took off?
I would defo see a market for it!
But as you suggest, difficult to see who would operate it. The most feasible airline would be Aer Lingus for me. Can't see KLM taking an interest... And Transavia seem more interested with the sunnier destinations...
