Firstly- Mr. Bentley
I enjoy it when someone who is having a go at me makes an arse of themselves.
i did before posting about the banks and will be more then happy to give you then numbers of 2 aussies that it has happened to in the last year. just pm me
With your ability to research, you'd better stick to ATC.http://www.info.dfat.gov.au/Info/Tre...penForm&Seq=19 No treaty between oz and UAE to allow recognition in oz of a judgement obtained in UAE. Hence, cannot "sell" a debt from UAE. Perhaps you should have your friends PM me. I won't pretend I know stuff like you do.
yes i do know the whole facts and no i am not misrepresenting them.
Ah well, that's all cleared up then. You say so. However, I have a signed offer of employment, which I declined. Happy to fax a copy to you. BTW- it wasn't an Oman-Charles-written-offer-that-isn't-an-offer!! If that doesn't sit well with your version- then best you get better sources. Amazing how the chinese whispers in this industry result in so many "facts".
have spent more time employed in jobs other then atc
That isn't the issue. It's nowthat you are employed as an ATC, you can't conceive of anything else. Especially self-employment. It's obviously an undesirable proposition to you. Did you know traincontrollers get $150k here now.
and still no answer to the questions
What questions?
ANSA- your post of 02.11 was the most sensible thing you have written- and would be a great piece of advice to prospectives.
As for Tehran. Ahh, so quick to judge. It wasn't that long ago that we ran them 1000' apart nose-to-noseon different QNH's as the standard procedure, for years...anyway, in retrospect I would do it differently, but that isn't the issue. It was how the investigation was carried out, and my treatment surrounding that. I wasn't fired for having the incident. And someone has mentioned already that the procedures ..... left a little to be desired. It is something for prospectives to consider- your licence is constantly at risk because no matter what the circumstances, an incident is always the controllers fault. It is much easier to hang it on the controller than get RJ to contact Tehran and sort out the procedures. Cause if an investigation blamed the procedures as well as/instead of the controller, that's what they'd have to do. But hey, they are just "middle east moments", right Bentley? Imagine the British (or anywhere, for that matter) SRG/SRO stating "we will look at the procedures in isolation to the incident"!!!! Just comical. Ahhh, you just get used to working with idiots over there (AD).
