At the moment I'm doing the 0-ATPL course at Egnatia, I'm currently doing the first stage of the ATPL Ground School.
Most of the students here generally come from the UK or Greece (I'm from London). The Head of Training is from the UK and the Instructors are a mixture of English and Greek.
The shared accomodation here is comfortable, it's basically a two bedroom flat. Keramoti (where we live) is just down the road from the airport and has some bars and a number of reseraunts. In the summer it gets quite busy with English and German tourists and there are a lot of English who come through Keramoti to go to Thassos Island. In winter it gets quiet but the bars and resteraunts are still open. Everyone at the school is social and we all go out to dinner/lunch/bar/Thassos often. It's always a good laugh! For example, on friday we flew to Zante for the night and came back in the morning
. The cost of living is very cheap here.
Everyone is in the same situation because they've had to come away from home for some time. The locals have gotten to know us aswell and so it's good fun.
