Before the QantasLink contract, yes, the conditions weren't the best. Since then they've brought on an EBA which gives them a monthly limit of 140 hours, with a general roster including 125 hours.
A F/A earns $35,000 approx incl all allowances, super etc but not including meal allowances. Overnights can be either 1 to 5/6 in a month (as in 2 or 3 day trips).
It's pretty hard going right now - all the aircraft and crew are scheduled right up until the last minute - but everyone's enjoying themselves...I'd apply right now since they can't get enough crew - and let's face it, who's recruiting permanent full time these days?
