I have spent 10 years shutting Pumas down offshore. A couple of tips. Before shutting down, bug your heading on the hsi then put the compass solector to MAG rather than DG or you wil have problems with the AP later. Leave it there until after starting. In strong winds put the blade socks on by putting the sock on the blade at the 8 o clock postion then getting one of the deck crew to walk the blade around until the next free blade is at 8 o clock and repeat until all the blades are secure. Had a puma offshore in winds over 90 knots shut down with no problems ( She was well lashed down !) As T4 Risen said, try and kep her dry. Good luck
