My old 503 powerd Rans (stacks of head room) could haul 31 stone with full fuel. You just need to find a 12stone instructor!
I'm not sure about other types, but there's 4 thrusters for sale on
www.afors.co.uk for less than £5K (2 of 'em are £4K ono), thats cheep flying.
