(In my case an instructor did start to worry that it was taking him too long to teach me the last few seconds of the landing, but I reassured him that I'd expected that, being sufficiently lacking in stuff like hand-eye coordination that I wasn't any good at ball games and so on. But that was at
lots more than four hours and I got there in the end.)
