Well i guess i wont argue with you if you say you can but my opinion and experience is that manual check in takes ages compared to that of computerised. Its the level of service the pax recieve aswell, like i said before no one wants to have to stare at the top of someons head whilst they write all the details down and get the que down. A nice friendly smile and chat will go a long way in my eyes, the pax are so tense and nervous they need to be calmed down a bit. Surely thats why a check in agent job exists.....its the first point of contact with the airline as they start their journey. Am i a check in agent??? now that would be telling!
