Since hosting videos can be quite disk space & bandwidth intensive, I'd recommend to anyone to upload their videos to
youtube. It converts whatever format you upload into a format most browsers can play (Macs & PC work fine), gives an easy to use link, and best of all is free. The only possible downside I can think of is that it is very public. i.e. on some obscure server somewhere, you link my never go outside PPRuNe, but youtube has a very good search facility. Anyway, just a thought.
