the rumor about the blankets is crap.. i can assure you. half the time we are only loaded with 25-30 odd blankets and sell out completley - there is no need for us to change the temp in the cabin to 'increase sales'.
You will find with JQ crew.. we dont really give a damn about selling. thats one positive thing i think.. at least we wont be forcing saleable items down your throat the entire flight!
We get minimal commission from such things , and most of the time we dont particuarly care if you buy food/drink/blankets or not.
We have control of the temperature in the cabin and damned if we would suffer in the cold (or hot) just because management asks us too. (if mangagement are going to be on board though. we might make it slightly 'uncomfortable' for them haha)
none of us particuarly love management, JQ or QF - which is why we do bare minimum.
