Boy - are you living in cloud cuckoo land! Your 3 years in the RAF will only give you marketable experience if you end up at Brize or Lyneham. Anywhere else and the similarities between military and civil will be like chalk and cheese. There's a big difference between re-roling a fast jet for a different sortie (you either have one or you don't - end of story) and trying to replace a U/S airliner with another from the other end of the country, and get a crew together for it.
Bear in mind your 3 years will only be 2 after training - is it really worth it to join in the first place? I think you really need to have a long hard think about your career decisions now, before you sign on the dotted line
As for your 60K - if flight ops pay was that good I wouldn't be an ATCO.
