KPMG are not there to save the company, they are there to sell off the assets in order to (firstly!) pay for their fees and secondly to get what they can for the many creditors. The fees continue to mount so they will not sit for ever waiting for a "buyer" to appear. If nobody is interested (as seems likely) they will sell everything for what they can get.
