'we don't make the rules; DfT do and we comply with them' - then if you've got more than 2 brain cells to rub together, why aren't YOU questionning these ridiculous rules and ACTIVELY reporting up the chain. If you are unable to see the futility of what you subject all flight, cabin and engineering staff to daily then you and those who think like you are part of the problem.
