Interesting that you were inspired to join the RAF
after seeing the Simon Dee show. He actually went for a flight in an RN toom out of Yeovilton. In return he invited a number of Yeovilton personnel along to see the show and I was one of them. Good show, both Lulu and Cliff Richard appeared. However the plane made the show and kept me busy for many years afterwards.
