Couldn't you just turn on the nightsun rotate it 360 and melt all the snow?
I have seen helicopters so deep you couldn't open the doors.

I once worked for a company ( TQH) in Canada - we had high skids and full airglass skis instead of bearpaws on all our B206B/L AS350 and B205 - they were great - best for snow, however, was fixed floats. Fun and games.
