One of the better ways of getting troops into the jungle.
Brunei was one of the few places where you could abseil/rappel from 200 ft. (as that was about the height of the canopy!)
However there were clearings in which to land normally.
One of the main tasks was re-supply for exercising troops.
Because of the DA/weight, only enough fuel was carried for 1 or 2 supply runs at a time.
The other way to fly rotary in Brunei!
The Sultan of Brunei flew on internal visits in his luxurious Blackhawk.
The inside was/is trimmed in gold.
