I got a job wth Silverjet as Inflight Service Coordinator and I for one am excited about it!
Yes it's a new company, there will be teething problems and it won't be smooth running all the way, but hey if it doesn't work out then there are other airlines. Everyone has got to start somewhere.
When I was at my interview they were talking about standbys and that you'd need to live locally in order to do them so sounded to me like there will be standbys!
I think it's just a case of wait and see, if you don't try you'll never know and I think it will be great to be in from the start.
