I agree with your general sentiments, (I am a BALPA member who voted Yes to action), HOWEVER, I cannot bring myself to condemn any of my colleagues who may have voted no.
Whether or not you voted yes/no is down to the stage of your career, how well you know the company, whether you've been jobless in the past ..etc..
Althought the company has not acted very well throughout this scenario, neither, in my opinion, has BALPA.
With regard to your comment about 'next time' , if there is another confrontation next year (and there may well be), pilots will vote based on what the company and BALPA have to say about THAT confrontation, not the last one. This, I believe, is the way it should be ...
