Interesting to hear that Prestwick were being hospitable to some. In those same mid nineties, they introduced (unilaterally) a scheme of charging BAe Flying College & other resident organisations on a scale which included, as separate items, take-offs, landings, instrument approaches and visual circuits. By the time the arguments were over & the dust had settled, the College bill was believed to run well into six figures. This was almost certainly a major factor in deciding to move the organisation to Jerez.
