I am non military but have links with RAF through family. I only knew one of the crew, Ste (Swarbs) and i have lost an absolute gem of a friend. I can't find any words to describe the loss i feel, but my tears have been for the family and friends of all 14 that were involved, as well as for myself.
I hope you all get through this and come out the other side smiling when you think back to the ray of sunshine your loved ones brought to your life.
That these people risk their lives without a second thought is humbling indeed and i wish they were here for me to thank them.
