Ryanair have said in press statement today that they plan to launch Dublin to Skavsta from next February. I also heard a rumor that their new
(as of yet unannounced) Bremen base will have a route to Skavsta.
This is a complete turnaround of their "getting out of Sweden" policy! Or has there been
"positive" developments on the aviation tax front that I have missed?
However, I do believe that Ryanair plan to ground 2 of their Skavsta aircraft on Wednesdays between mid-January and the end of March to assist winter yields and loads, and to keep pilot hours at bay while they're at it...
Skavsta will be dead quiet on those Wednesdays
