For systems learning I highly recommend the flight manual and manufacturer's CBT if you can get them. Perhaps your employer or a friend in the biz can provide you with some night table reading material.
I collect different airline historical items and have some experience with sourcing manuals and tech materials cheaply. Ebay has an AFM/FCOM on sale every so often. Some of the Ebay CDROMs are pirated copies - watch out for these.
There are a few legitimate online resources for such items. Try these companies:
http://www.esscoaircraft.com Good customer service and excellent copies of some of the older stuff.
http://www.techmanualdepot.com Quality digitized AFM/FCOM versions and CBTs and airline published items - Cheap !
There is a guy in Georgia, USA at:
http://www.eflightmanuals.com His stuff requires some clunky security software and they are a s l o w shipper - however the e-books are cheap !
