The problem with your argument is that Asia to Asia travel is relatively speaking, cheap country to cheap country. It's what sustains all the budget Asian travel.
And for a huge portion of the market, it is going back home etc to visit relatives e.g. back to indo, thailand etc. It is virtually a train service operation.
The Asian dollar earnt does not go far down under. Not a size market for the A380.
