I have been following this Direct Entry FO (Pax) debate for sometime now, but what I have yet to establish is how it will affect current SO upgrade times. Can anyone shed any light on this? I notice that there is a threshold in the new deal that will stop SO's receiving Bypass Pay until 42 months service. Is there a restriction like this in the current contract?
