I've just been rejected. Reason as they stated in the email: to many applicants with 5000+ hrs and jet-command experience. I applied having 3000 hrs of F/O jet.
If you've got the hours: application through their website, expect answer within about 8 weeks. If you search on Pprune for Emirates you'll get all the pros and cons.
