I find your comment about scum of the earth a bit off.I don't know who you fly for but the charter operators I know (in the UK at least) don't pay that much more (if at all)as many G4/5 or Challenger jobs from what I understand.
Being service oriented will help a lot as my experience was that as long as it looked good in the cabin that's all that mattered.Yes I've done charter and I tried corporate,but not for long!
