Make sure you keep your voice up at all times (apart from the rests and in the Cocked Hat
). During the Group Planning, make sure you are constantly giving useful ideas (not spewing sh*te). If anyone else is quiet, ask them what their view is. During the PLT, if you bugger it up, don't just sit there and wait for the time to run out, try and rectify the problem. I made a complete tits up- I got my whole team to the other side, and then realised that I had forgotten the equipment; an oil barrel and a petrol can, so I immediately started building a bridge back again. They obviously didn't mind too much, as I passed. And don't drink too much- I know what you sailors are like
. Get socialising in the common room as soon as everyone starts arriving. And last but definitely not least, give it your all.
