When I first started flying I had very crooked, slightly chipped teeth. I was always self concious about them, and obviously in this job you smile, ALOT!
I was sick of constantly covering my mouth with my hand, or people asking me if I was in a bad mood, simply because I wasn't smiling a big open mouth smile.
I'd had enough and (for many reasons) I had them fixed. Eight porcelain veneers and 2 days of cosmetic dental surgery later, I had a perfect smile. Now I can't stop grinning and ... get lots of compliments about my smile
.
So, the job wasn't the reason
why I got my teeth done, but in some ways it helps me do my job better.
It changed my life.
