Wing Commander A.H. Burton, DSO,DFC
Going back a while..........Over the years I've occasionally wondered what the Gentleman's background was. He was a helpful senior officer, and possibly the commandant at the Aircrew Selection Centre RAF Hornchurch when I attended as a schoolboy for " Tests in Advance " in 1960. On the assumption that DSO's were not handed out to all that many RAF officers, I'm thinking someone may remember his wartime contribution, or know of a reference site available to the public.
