Yup, the leave situation is not looking good at the moment. We have been promised that they will open up in 2008, but who knows.
We are beginning to implement our new ACC (DATMAS) system, and that will take up a lot of hands for some time to come. I am just comming back from a years leave, and the mentioned collegue is 3 months into his. We are the only two who has gotten leave for a very long time, and that will propably continue.
But when the time comes, I am applying again. Would like to work somewhere else in the world,when I have the chance. How is Oz or NZ for employment. I know of the whole Aus Visa thing, but apart from that.?
