The problem is not a 737 type or a JAA licence but the legal right to live and work in the EU,if you hold grandfather rights of some sort and therefore an EU citizenship then the JAA licence is the way to go otherwise you'll have to cue for a visa together with the refugees from the ex Yugoslavia.
