I surely cannot comment with regards to any information on a Ground staff position, as i'm part of the complement of Flying operators within the Airline.
I can however comment on Doha vs Dubai... now to start with i'm not a fan of DXB.. does not really appeal to me. yes I know it's a better place to Party maybe.. better resturants and other social activities, but, the fact remains that I like Doha better.. mainly for it's small town social atmosphere. Yes this can be a bit trying on ones patients with regards to the road conditions and driving, but it's not all to be blamed on the Locals or local culture. as everyone knows that all the other expats in this country are also to blame.. me being no different.
it's one of the safest places that I have ever lived .. if you can deal with the culture of waiting until tomorrow for everything and Inshala generally means NO or It Won't Happen.. then it's not a big deal.
come with an open mind,, be receptive to changes good or bad.. know that the goal posts will always change positions.. and your In
