My post is based on my experience of working in Hong Kong and in the UK. A helpful tax advisor would give you advice but the best advice would be from a UK tax office. They can be quite helpful.
The best one to ask would be the Manchester tax office who would be dealing with your case. You can find them out from the UK yellow pages or white pages over the internet.
The only way for you to avoid UK tax would be to live outside of the UK with a maximum of 90 days allowed in the UK in any tax year.
