Vary from good to average but you dont get a choice. You may opt to take the housing allowance now, but it will not get you much.(85000dhs/yr)
How much is the rent for an apartment near the beach?(wife and two kids)
100000 dirhams/year minimum. All places are only a few minutes to the beach.
What is exactly the "amount" of help Pilots receive for child education?
100% of the first 10000 dhs then 90 % above that up to a max of about 19500dhs. (primary school) Secondary is 100% up to 20000dhs then 90% above that to a max of 39000dhs. The problem is getting your kids into schools and this is becoming a big problem here.
Travel allowances per year?
One free trip home per year then unlimited ID90/ID50.
Dubai is still a tax free city?
Tax free yes but cost of living is getting more expensive by the day.

Whinging about how the company is slowly cutting our benefits, whilst trying to expand rapidly at the same time! Most of them are also probably reassessing how long they are going to remain here with EK !
