It's hard to believe there will ever be a shortage at the bottom end but you have got to admit there are far more opportunities out there right now than what there was at the end of 2001 (for example). It is a cyclical emplyment industry and right now it is looking very good for some of the middle order batsmen

It is almost as though some people are skipping some rungs of the old ladder altogether! Of course in a few years time it will probably be the other way round again...
